We examined some apps and created user flows. We ultimately decided on the UPS app, as we found both the user experience and user interface to be in need of improvement. Some actions were not understandable and the navigation was very confusing, making it very time-consuming to send a package through the app.

In the beginning, we defined our target group: Felix, a Stuttgart student who is too busy to attend his aunt's birthday party in person, so he wants to safely send her a gift. To prepare for our redesign, we used an as-is and to-be scenario, and need statements. From these scenarios, we developed user flows and prioritized them using a grid. Our final prototype features the Inter Font Family by Rasmus Andersson, optimized for display and legibility, and a color palette inspired by UPS, using simple gray tones to complement it and create a cohesive color scheme.
