Our design process started with defining the target audience. We determined who the target person is and what they value. Next, we created an empathy map and mood boards. Of course, we followed up with user flows and feature ideas for the app. Furthermore we created initial sketches and tried to implement our user flows in them. After filtering out the best solutions and ideas from the sketches, we continued the development and linked them together to test them. Many iterations and variations later, the prototypes were turned into a final, realistic looking prototype.
To use Homebility, log in and follow the instructions to add your devices. The app will guide you through scanning and setting up your devices. On the Home page, you can see the total consumption of all devices. Use the menu to view all devices or just devices in a specific room. Click on a device to view its details and turn it on or off. To edit devices, click the pencil icon. For consumption details, go to "Consumption" and view by room and time period. Adjust language, text size, text-to-speech, and color contrast in the settings.
